Maxine Evans Gray

Maxine Evans Gray—a native of Crystal Springs, Mississippi—is the senior pastor of the Exodus Assembly in inner city Jackson, Mississippi, overseer of Heal the Hurt Outreach Ministries, a motivational speaker, and author of several books that were written to challenge the mind and heart of believers in Christ to reach for the love of God that is freely given and to soar to new heights in Him. Our theme scripture is Jeremiah 30:17 KJV: For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds,’ saith the LORD, ‘because they called thee an outcast, saying, “This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”’
After a long history of tragedy and extreme hurt, she cried out to God for personal healing, but God took away her words for herself and replaced them with intercessory prayers and ministering to the needs of many who are in desperate and even terminal situations. Through intercessory prayer, many have miraculously recovered and are made whole.

Her newest highly inspirational book ESCAPING TRAGEDY—THE POWER TO FORGIVE, published by Christian Faith Publishing, aims at and destroys the power of family curses, especially death. In it she shares some of her most intimate experiences and family crises that were destined to destroy them all, but were overcome by the power of the Blood of Jesus and divine forgiveness. The book can be found on AMAZON.COM, BARNES & NOBLE, ITunes, and Kobo. Other book venues are forthcoming. Pray with her as she seeks to be a greater blessing to the Kingdom of Almighty God.
